oh man. i feel bad for poor ash simpson and i'm not going to post the link to her snl video... however the link to her message board is another matter. hahahaha!

there and back again

AMERICA FUCK YEAH! heh. so sf was fun. flew right into zg intl and then on to the metreon for the very hilarious "team america: world police". then chilled all weekend recovering from jetlag. worked my ass off in sf and put a better face on an old war wound. finally back home to nyc after two weeks away. the cat still loves me and i feel as good as i have in years. AMERICA FUCK YEAH!

i live in the clouds

so travel. yeah. travel.

new york to sf for rusty and merin's most excellent wedding. lots of the sweetest pals and good times. then next day flight direct to london. so much effective workie in london. some fun. so many train delays. it is said that british rail works just so well as to get your hopes up... then so poor as to dash them. of the three major delays this trip, one was a delay of major proportions. the heathrow "express" train that promises "the quickest trip" of only fifteen minutes... or in our case an hour and fifteen. ugh. i've never cut an international flight so close. thank god i left the hotel two and a half hours before the flight.

  

bad news - middle seat.
good news - exit row with eight feet of legroom.
better news - flight path over iceland on a sunny day.
best news - flight path over greenland with sun as well!
* this never happens that you get to see both on the same flight.

back in sf to recover for the weekend, then work all week. sometime in the future, home sweet new york. nearing 100k miles for the year.

terminal five

    

ah my pal simon. she dragged me along to the big art exhibit over at jfk's terminal five, which is the old twa terminal - soon to be the new jetblue terminal. so yeah. the 60's swank architecture is awesome. the art was sweet and simon's roomies from sf, the paradise boys, played a rockin' sexy set. the night got blurry and we ended up with the boys at the at the tribeca grand. who knew?
