creative commons benefit

big thanks to molly who came to visit from toronto and took us to see gilberto gil and david byrne at town hall. it was like being back in 1997. larry lessig was there along with john perry barlow and the rest of the wired crew. gilberto gil rocked my world and david byrne was a crowd pleaser and had his most fun during his talking heads songs. fun!

sheesh. i just noticed that it's been since september 9th since i've posted anything. strangely that's the night before i went to london for 8 days. hmm... so yeah, i've got good pics and great stories to share from the trip and some new stuff from nyc as well... party! benefits! travel! scandal! well, maybe no scandal... but plenty of spam. heh. soon - i promise!

travel daze

so i'm sitting here in d.c. after a long day of dogding tornados, airports and train stations. i had three flights cancelled on me and they grounded the rest of the flights to d.c. so i ended up on amtrak. this is all so i can fly off to the uk tomorrow morning. i have to be awake in six hours. i should be sleeping. instead i'm surfing the web. good thing - cuz i found a great cd ripping flowchart. heh.

i finally got my pics up from montana. it was great seeing my sister and getting that far far away from the city. dome building is fun too!

st. madagascar middle school fundraiser

thanks to the party people over at madagascar for their excellent event on saturday night. there was bingo, roulette, a talent show, jug wine and spaghetti! woo! oh yes... and many, many cute schoolgirls... and dirty priests. very cute, very fun! as an aside, i won $10 and a punch to the gut from the gracious chris hackett as a prize for winning blackout bingo. also met cool kids from sf and florida now linving in bklyn. also jug wine is hurty. ow.
