yeeha! sf halloween rockstar stylie! dinner and drinks and pals. then parties galore! house of shields, castro, steve and sara's and then... holy crap was that s3krit party sick or what? you know how we do...

ok. so i was finally able to get those pics off my card. here's us.

last night was the tiger lillies show at bimbos in sf. my great pal sonic drove up from l.a., braved the fires on the 5, and dragged me to the show. such a funny, morose and sick experience. go see them if you get a chance. get a pal like sonic if you get a chance too. my cf card reader isn't working or you'd see some pictures from last night too...

keeping my sanity in sf is a good thing. luckily the ties to the old emotional baggage have been successfully cut and i can enjoy myself and my friends. hitting d&b at the top tonight, tiger lillies at bimbo's tomorrow and thursday is the zeitgeist. mmm zeitgeist. i'll have to exorcise a ghost from there... but mmm zeitgeist.
Posted by Pete at 04:52 PM | Comments (16)the cmj (college music journal) music fest has been going on this week in manhattan. the event takes place in various hotels and clubs around the city. lots of music and indie kids filling the town. my good pals rusty and merin are in town from san francisco and after drinks at canteen and a somewhat revolting dinner at arturo's, we somehow stumbled upon one of the cmj venues in the basement of a fun bar called lit. furthuring the chain of coincidence, we also happened upon julian, linnea and sarah - more pals! more fun! more good times and then on to the b-side for the after party! yeah, i guess ny is kinda fun.
Posted by Pete at 05:04 PM | Comments (17)now my blogging arsenal is complete. i've got the vaio, the cam, the cdma and now the perfect bag for it all. i got a small courier bag from manhattan portage on 9th st and 2nd ave. peep it yo.

my good pal summer came out to visit ny from sf this week. it's always good when pals come visit. ow.

i continue to be amazed by new york. today i was in midtown visiting a potential customer and i happened upon the takashi murakami installation in front of rockefeller center. it's called 'reversed double helix' and pictures are here.
